To be a point of contact for customer queries and to provide administrative support for the Company and provide opportunities for the Company to apply their knowledge to practical work-based activities.

  1. Sales Desk: exercising initiative and judgment to meet the needs of the customer.
  2. Stock Control: Maintenance of stock levels, Unpacking and stacking Stock, Purchase Orders as required.
  3. Ensure a safe environment for customers and co workers.
  4. Loading customer’s vehicles and trailers if qualified to do so in in a safe, timely and professional manor
  5. Assist in the general cleanliness and maintenance of the offices and yard.
  6. Answering of incoming calls, directing calls accordingly and/or accurately take messages
  7. Respond to emails and communicate with customers via email
  8. Accurate data entry and word processing
  9. Facilitate orders with suppliers and stock handling
  10. Scanning, filing and general office maintenance and banking
  11. Account enquiries and invoice reconciliations
  12. General and varying administration duties as required
  13. Maintaining a clean and enjoyable working environment.
  14. Assist with staff queries, and escalate queries to appropriate senior staff if unable to assist
  1. To be an active participant in the establishment and maintenance of procedures and processes ensuring customer centered service.
  2. Demonstrate accountability for cost control and effective use of resources.
  3. Participate in Fire training and Occupational Health and Safety requirements as arranged.
  4. Work with other staff to formulate and implement new policies and procedures.
  5. Promote effective and efficient channels of communication between staff.
  6. Participate in staff meetings as required.
  7. Participate in staff development activities required to ensure skills remain current.

Fulfil other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required.

• Forklift Licence – Desired
• Strong competent computer skills
• Ag Chem Suppliers Certification

• 2 years relevant commercial and practical experience desired.
• Accounting Software Experience. MYOB Preferred
